good for you jimmy!! i went camping in the shenandoah mountains this past weekend and experienced that same sort of wonderment... and while i saw billions and billions more stars than i've ever seen from my suburban backyard i'm sure it's nothing compared to what you were able to see out in the desert. think any of that would show up in pictures?

oh and way to go getting off the smokes!!

I'm no fan of Gregg Easterbrook (especially when he manages crap like this -- dude, actually read the case law, then comment, ok?), but being fired from ESPN for comments that he immediately apologized for, made in a different venue than on ESPN, is simply stupid.

Look, TMQ sucked. Hard. I think Easterbrook is largely overrated. He and I diverge politically, early and often. But the guy is a more or less reasonable fellow, he made a mistake, he apologized, now he's fired and his columns have all been yanked from ESPN?

Lame, kids. But ESPN has been getting lame for a while now. Like, since they started treating NASCAR as a "sport."
